We are glad you are inquiring about the Children's Ministry at Macedonia.  We want to ensure your child has a pleasant experience while they are with us.  Here you can find what to expect when you bring your child to Macedonia.  Our children's building is located directly south of our main building in our Children's Ministry and Daycare facility.

What to expect when visiting. We do not have programming for kids Kindergarten thru 6th grade during our Worship hour. Children attend the worship service at 10:45.  We provide a children’s bulletin for kids to complete during the service. If you are worshiping with us for the first time on a Sunday and would like your baby, toddler, or preschooler to participate in Children's Worship we encourage you to plan to pull up to our Children's Ministry Building to come in and register/check in your child.   Our babies through 3 years experience activity-oriented bible learning and care in a safe and secure environment.  Fours through Kinders engage in active worship designed for young children.  If you prefer to have your young children with you in the Worship Center we welcome you to worship as a family as well and believe the worship experience for all is enhanced by the presence of all ages.  There is a parenting room located near the worship facility, for you and your child's comfort if needed.

Parent information

We want your child to have a safe and secure experience.  The parent or adult leaving the child in our care must register each child in our check-in program.  Please inform the welcome staff of any medical or security needs.

Babies - Kindergarten children are picked up from their classroom by an adult. Show the pick-up tag to the teacher or at the welcome desk. If the pick-up tag has been lost, you can obtain one from the welcome desk.

If your elementary age child attends KidsCORE on Sunday mornings they will be escorted by an adult leader as a group to the main building at 10:30 and will meet parents in the Breezeway unless other arrangements are made during check-in.

Food:  Snacks are given to preschool classes. Snacks may include goldfish, graham crackers,or animal crackers. If your child has an allergy, please let the teacher and/or the welcome desk know.

Elementary classes may have snacks on an occasional basis. An allergy alert will be displayed when food is being served.

Photography/Social Media We will not use your child’s picture in any kind of advertisement or promotion unless a release form has been completed by a parent authorizing usage.

Macedonia has a security team on location during regular program times. In case of emergency, the children’s wing will be locked down until the crisis is resolved.
