THE GOSPEL ABOVE ALL
Our goal is to proclaim the gospel to our community in order to make, baptize, and teach disciples of Jesus Christ. This mission drives everything we do, and serves as the filter through which we make ministry decisions. So, what do we mean by “gospel”? The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead (1 Cor. 15:3-4). All who believe this message and trust Jesus Christ as Lord are saved from sin and set apart for God (John 1:12; Romans 10:9-13).
TRANSFORMATIONAL TEACHING OF GOD’S WORD
Obeying the Word of God is the primary avenue and power for life change. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
DEVELOP PEOPLE FOR KINGDOM IMPACT
We value growing leaders who thrive in their faith by serving! As believers, we were created and called to use our gifts, skills, and passions to serve others (Ephesians 2:8-10). So, we recognize the importance of developing those who serve by leading others. This grows the kingdom of God (1 Peter 4:10-11).
LOVING HURTING PEOPLE
God has comforted his children so that we can in turn comfort others in the midst of affliction and difficulty. (2 Cor. 1:3-5) We purpose to seek those wandering and see them connect to a relationship with the loving Savior and within the body of Christ.
MULTIGENERATIONAL FAMILY
Macedonia is called to unity by the blood of Jesus and the grace we have received. We believe the church is better as people get to be on a mission together across multiple generations.
